Food Bank of the Rockies
I began working with the Food Bank of the Rockies in 1996 after being asked to help out on a short-term project. That project turned into an ongoing commitment to feeding our community’s children that includes my family, friends, and clients. I have served two terms on the Board of Directors and I am the Chairman of the annual Joe Sakic Celebrity Classic/Bringing Hope to the Table Celebration which is now our largest fundraiser. I am proud that RBC Wealth Management has made a commitment to this Event which emphasizes our Kid’s Programs in Colorado and Wyoming. Because of the ongoing support of RBC and other friends of the Food Bank, we can continue the successful distribution of millions of meals to our community’s children in need.
This year’s Joe & Debbie Sakic's bringing Hope to the Table Celebration will be held on August 16th at the Hilton Denver City Center. After cocktails, silent and live auctions and dinner, we will be entertained by comedian Jim Colliton. This is our 22nd year and we welcome our friends and clients to join us.
